I've said it before, and I'll say it again. I have had the BEST couples this year. Tara had a great Idea to do the engagement shoot at Stienberg Skating Rink in Forest Park. They were darling and we had a blast. Then we trotted on over to the Central West end for a little fun on dry land.

So I get this call. "Can you take some shots of my kids to possibly send to an agency?" Sure, I say...then they arrive. WOW, the eyes on every one of them was mesmerizing. And Mom, was like this etherial beauty with a teenagers energy. They were great. All of these were taken at my good friend Lance Tilfords studio. He is the owner of Limelight and my hero.

I have been blessed with the most awesome couples and Lori and Andy are no exception. I have the honor of photographing thier wedding this upcomming year and if thier engagement session is any indication of how much fun they are...then I better get some extra film!!

Christmas Portrait

Well, as a photographer I am the WORST about taking photos for my family Christmas card. So I decided to make it simple with the help of Garden Ridge and my friend Lance Tilford at Limelight Studios http://limelightstudio.us/ (he let me borrow the studio since its freezing outside and mama does not do cold). Although I had grandiose plans of flowing red silk capes and Scavullo-esk wind blowing, but apparently my flair for designing a cape out of a large tree skirt wasn't working out so we opted for skin (its always my favorite standby).
