Lets go to Florida!!!

Yes, a week ago I booked a trip to Florida for me and the girls at 10:00 at night. I believe it was 12 degrees. We left at 4:00 am the next morning. I think it was 10 degrees and falling.It might not have been the smartest move, but it was all worth it.
Winter.... not my favorite. Pictures of my girls running hand and hand down the beach, keeps me very, very warm.

Yet another beautiful bride, well the grooms pretty cute too. Great together, and despite the bitter cold, were real troopers getting pics in Old Town St. Charles. Congrats to Alexis and Ryan, and thanks for giving me another opportunity to shoot a beautiful wedding!!

I Won!!!!!!!

I usually don't enter print competitions, but this year it seemed when Seen 2008 (Studio Altius's annual competition) rolled around, alot of my friends were entering and I didn't , of course, want to be left out.

Seen 2008 is a St.Louis wide event where you are judged in rounds and the winners are left to be exhibited in David Cervens gallery for close to four weeks.

I am honored to say, that I won 1st place in Portraits, 1st place in Children, and 1st place and 3rd place in the wedding division.

I was 2nd place overall best in show.

This will be the one and only time I toot my own horn publicly. (Te-he)

The Wedding of Mark and Lisa

All I can say is WOW, about this fab couple. Married in late November, I was worried about not having anywhere yummy to shoot. Then I walked into the Four Seasons at Lumier Place , where Lisa and Mark were staying and had to pull my chin off the floor. This place is a photographers dream and so was this GREAT couple. Lisa and Marks reception was at the very exclusive, Racket Club and so of course, we had to take advantage of that and do com pics on the court. The wonderful Chad Spickler from Chad Jeffries Photography, was my second in command and we had a blast together. Thanks Chad, for your wonderful talent and making laugh all day. And thanks to Lisa and Mark for taking such good care of us. I wish the best to you!!! This wedding was definitely one of my FAVES!!!!

Blogging Backwards!!!

OK, we all know, and I have been raked over the coals about what a bad and irresponsible blogger I am. I am embarrassed to admit that I have weddings as long ago as the summer that I have yet to post. I love all my brides and families and it is my goal by the end of December to pay homage where homage is due and get caught up.
